2014 Vision Board Review – What Happened & What Fell Through!

Another year begins with great hopes, dreams, plans, and plenty of resolutions! I kept my vision board last year simple.

The overall theme was bridging the divide between where I was and following my passion. You can view an image of the vision board HERE. So how did I do?

2014 Vision Board Review

Writing

I started the year with the intention of finishing at least one book and failing that, writing the majority of one book.

Pleased to announce I finished two e-books and I’m working on three more, which I hope to complete before the end of the year. I’m very excited about the possibilities in 2015. Pass!

Money

I was very conscientious about money in 2014. I made a comprehensive plan for achieving the year’s goals and I tracked every cent I spent.

What I didn’t spend was put to work for me. I also socked a considerable amount away in preparation for my new adventure. Pass!

Give Back

I finally launched an initiative in memory of my parents. It’s an avenue through which I support treatment for low-income people with cancer. Pass!

Travel

I had a pretty long list for the year including California and Italy but a major life-changing decision I made in June put a hold on travel plans for the year.

I didn’t do as much of it as I would have liked to but I still managed to make it to Singapore.

Mad Money

It’s the kind of money that will allow you to walk away from a situation where you feel like you’re compromising yourself at any time without any regrets.

I was able to walk away from my 9 – 5 and start my own business. I’m still not at mad money level yet but I’m getting there one penny at a time. Pass!

Fitness

I’ve always believed healthy body, healthy mind. I walk instead of drive as much as I can; I take stairs instead of the lift and I’ve eliminated crappy food from my diet.

I’m also incapable of giving up chocolate hence the necessity to stay on top of my fitness game. I’m a big fan of Beachbody.

Last year was all about Insanity, Chalean Extreme and P90XI finished the year in excellent shape but short of my fitness goal. Pass.

Healthy Living

I eliminated all the crap from my diet. Honestly, this is not that difficult for me. As long as I can have chocolate, I don’t mind giving up soda, fast food, any other type of sweet, etc.

Having said that, I cut down on the amount of chocolate I eat although it probably would still look like a lot to the average person. Pass!

Tango

I really wanted to get back into that last year but so many other things seemed to be a priority and I only made it to one class. Fail!

Like Crazy

What can I say…it didn’t happen. Fail!

7 out of 9 ain’t bad! The two biggest achievements for me in 2014 were finally being able to leave behind a job that was draining my life force out of me.

I started doing something I love and launched a foundation in my parents’ memory.

I’m currently working on my 2015 vision board and will have that up before the end of January.
